Our Work

Wasp Archery

The Unique Challenge

As one of the most innovative bowhunting brands in the industry, Wasp Archery needed a website that would boldly convey its market leadership while also providing users with a clear path to purchase its key product — broadheads.

Wasp’s existing website used an obsolete platform and failed to drive sales at a growth-oriented level. As a company, Wasp needed to increase brand awareness and sales both through the website and in stores.

Development That Delivers

71% increase in revenue

The primary objective of Wasp’s new website was to increase sales online. Perrill created a new site that offered enhanced ecommerce capabilities, including improved product searching, sorting, and filtering, and a customer dashboard in WooCommerce that allows content to be managed by login type. As a result, online sales reached new records.

Creating a Community

86% increase in web traffic

Web traffic increased dramatically following site-launch thanks largely to a comprehensive marketing plan that included blogging, social media, advertising, analytics reporting, SEO, email, landing pages, and more. The new site also established a strong community for bowhunters, featuring user-submitted kill stories, blog posts, and game recipes. Perrill set up WordPress as an easy-to-use CMS to make adding and editing content a breeze for Wasp’s team members.

More traffic. Fuller carts.

30% increase in order value

Not only did revenue increase following site-launch, but the average user also spent more money per visit. Perrill developed an improved version of Wasp’s Broadhead Selector feature so users can quickly build their own custom 3-pack. By measuring and optimizing sales performance from product view to order completion, we drove higher order values and lower abandonment rates.
